I know we weren't supposed to leave until tomorrow....Well, we just couldn't wait. We packed up the truck last night and decided that we would leave in the morning. So this morning we kissed the Ruder cat good bye and took off.
Driving up our driveway...the first leg of our trip.
We stopped at Back Country BBQ in Linwood, NC and had a couple of tinderloin biscuits.
We entered Virginia at a tiny town right on the border called Virgilina.
An old forgotten home in Virgilina, Virginia.
We passed through Clarksville, Virginia and saw this sand sulpture. Had to take a picture.
Clarksville, Virginia where we had lunch.
We drove on to Moseley, Virginia where Jenny's brother Mike and his wife Karen live. The live out in the country in a wonderful cedar and stone house that they built themselves.
Mike is a retired Lieutenant of the Chesterfield County police department. Karen is an active Lieutenant in the Chesterfield County police department.
We all went to Vinnie's Italian resturant for supper.
We'll stay the night and leave tomorrow to visit with Dennis and Dot, Jenny's Dad and stepmother, at their home in Glen Allen, Virginia.
