Convington, Georgia - Lexington, North Carolina

When we woke up, around 7:30, Chris and Andrea had already left for work. We got our showers and headed for Newton High School where Chris coaches football and teaches PE. On the way we stopped at McDonalds to pick up some coffee and Egg McMuffins (Chris had called us before we left and said he was starving).

Our son Chris at his desk in the strength and conditioning building at Newton High School in Covington, Georgia.

We visited with Chris until his next class was about to start. We said our goodbyes and were on the road at 9:00.

Now at this point all Jenny and I can think about is getting home ... we miss our Ruter Cat ... we miss our house ... we miss our bed ... we miss our friends ... we've got car butt ... WE WANT TO GET HOME!

In Spartanburg, South Carolina we see the sign for Charlotte ... Gettin' Close.

Crossed the state line ... Oh Yea, We're in our home state!

We can see Kings Mountain in the distance as we approach Gastonia, North Carolina.

Driving through the farm on Linwood-Southmont Road, about 5 miles from our house.

Crossing the bridge over the Swearing Creek section of High Rock Lake where we live.

The lake looks pretty low. Doesn't look like there's been any rain since we left. Our house is a little left from center.

Driving down our driveway.

There's our home.

Pulling into the driveway.

Mama! Papa! You're Home!

Hugs and Kisses

Life is Good!

It's been and incredible journey that's lasted 43 days, covering over 10,000 miles through 28 states. We've seen so many amazing things and met a lot of wonderful people. What an experience!

Many Thanks To:
